Our office has been computerized since 1978. Our first objective in using the computer was in recognition that YOUR time is important. Since our founding in 1974, we have honed and refined our appointment scheduling system with the singular objective of giving YOU the appointment times that YOU want while RUNNING ON TIME – ALL DAY LONG!
One of the key concepts in this scheduling system is "like appointments together." Orthodontic care necessitates a series of short appointments throughout treatment. Some procedures can require up to one hour of your time; however, most appointments require only 10-15 minutes. In order to maximize the use of your time, we will schedule your longer appointments in conjunction with other patients' longer appointments. This eliminates long waiting times for minor adjustments.
Important to the success of this system is that longer appointments are scheduled at less popular times of the day. In this way we are able to accommodate the greatest number of patients during the popular times while still running on time. We ask you to work with us in helping to make this system work. By agreeing to longer appointments during school or work hours, you will be able to have the vast majority of your orthodontic appointments after school or work and still get in and out of the office on time.
We see patients as early as 7 a.m. and we are available for new patients in the evenings, so both parents can accompany any child at the initial examination.
Special Visits (Emergencies)
Occasionally, a patient may require care outside of his or her regularly scheduled appointments. A broken wire, loose bracket or similar situation can be remedied by calling our office to schedule a special appointment. If anything causes pain or alarm to the patient, we want you to call us right away.
